As promised in my last post, here’s how I managed to lose ab fat without doing any ab workouts with ‘The Truth About Abs’. Which is a book by certified nutrition specialist and certified personal trainer Mike Geary
First I want to tell you why ab workouts don’t work and why these exercises can make you look even more fat.
I have always had stubborn belly fat just like my dad and brothers, heck even my mother has belly fat.
I trained for almost 6 days a week if my schedule allowed me, and it were very long training sessions. But these ab workouts just didn’t work.
So, I thought I need to train more and harder and that’s what I did. But this was wrong. Training harder and more while your ab fat is not gone
will get you nowhere. It’ll make you even look more fat than before.
Did you know your body saves fat reserves. When you do a lot of ab workouts you will burn a lot, but your body will automatically store more fat around your waist to compensate what you burned.

3 Reasons Why Ab Workouts Don’t reduce Stomach Fat.
When I started with doing workouts to lose my lower ab fat I did many workouts. One thing was for sure, my six pack got real hard, but it wasn’t visible.
If you have belly fat or are overweight, there’s no chance you will lose belly fat just by doing ab workouts many hours a day for almost every day.
Though you might burn some calories and that’s all. While I figured it out very late, I don’t want you to figure it out the hard way like I did. Doing ab workouts can increase your ab muscles but they will be covered under your belly fat and won’t be visible.
Because your muscles get bigger, your belly will get bigger as well and it will seem like your fat has become bigger also.
Remember, your body also needs to save belly fat as an energy reserve. Therefore it keeps your belly fat, and it just keeps on going like this, the more you workout the more you burn, and the more fat your body needs to save again.
I don’t want to say that ab workouts don’t work at all, sure there is a time when you need to do ab exercises. But it’s too soon to do workouts if you still have a lot of belly fat. You really need to have a small amount of fat % especially around the waist to have that nice flat belly with a good looking six pack, if that’s what you want.
So if ab specific workouts don’t work, what’s the best way to lose ab fat instead?
The best way to lose abdominal fat. is weight lifting. With weight lifting you train more muscles in your body so your body burns more calories than single joint exercises like ab specific exercises such as crunches.

Lose Ab Fat And See Those Abs At Last

I’m a 23 years old guy and I always had this problem of not being able to lose ab fat and see my ab muscles. I always wanted to have the nice looking lean flat abs like models have.
I’ve tried many things to lose abdominal fat, but I never did research on how to do it.
While I did a lot of cardio training and ab excercises, which I really hated, I just couldn’t lose my lower ab fat even though I had rock hard abs underneath this fat. It’s when I really got frustrated and began my research why this was happening.
And that’s why I made this blog. To let all the other people see how to lose ab fat, do it right before they spend too much time and money on things that don’t work.
